---- How can you apply:

We are taking a simplified approach for you to apply to this inventory. We don’t even require a cover letter! You just need to provide the following:

■ Your resume, which must NOT exceed four (4) pages;
■ During the application process, you will be asked to answer a series of pre-screening questions about “other” qualifications that may be a deciding factor in referring your application to hiring managers for consideration. In this instance, any of the “other” qualifications may be deemed essential requirements for the position being staffed.
■ To demonstrate how you meet the screening criteria (education and experience), you will need to provide concrete examples for each screening question to clearly explain how you have acquired the education and experience.

NOTE: To facilitate the referral of applicants to hiring managers, only applications submitted online will be accepted.

This inventory will be used to staff immediate and future PM-05 vacant positions of various linguistic profiles, conditions of employment, security requirements and various tenures within Public Safety Canada. Persons seeking such job opportunities are therefore encouraged to apply.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

→ EDUCATION:

Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

→ EXPERIENCE:

1-Experience* in planning, developing, analyzing and implementing policies, programs or services;

2-Experience* providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management** on policy, program or planning issues;

3-Experience* in building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders (such as other government departments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), provincial/territorial or municipal stakeholders).

*Experience will be evaluated in terms of length, complexity and diversity of work experience that was a core part of the candidate’s employment and would have normally been obtained during a period of approximately three (3) years. PLEASE keep in mind this definition when you provide your examples in response to the screening questions for the experience you indicate possessing.

**Senior management is defined as director level and above
