The student will carry out research related to the project. The student will review the literature on the project, collect and compile scientific data, synthesize and analyze the data, and write a doctoral thesis and / or scientific articles. The student can, on occasion, help the team if necessary.
The student will have access to a desk and a computer as well as to the laboratory of the Center for Research and Development of Quebec. The student will also benefit from the technical support of a research professional.

Currently enrolled / or willing to enroll in a doctoral program at a post-secondary institution with a specialization in: agro-economics.
Experience in conducting literature review and in summarizing information under different formats (reports, article, or manuscript format).
Develop economic model and research methodologies. Experience in conducting statistical analyses of data from agriculture related-fields.
Experience in developing and working with an appropriate simulation model and analysis of economic data related to cropping systems, agricultural production, and land management practices.
