Assessment accommodation

This position is located in Toronto. As a result of the global pandemic, OSFI employees are currently working from home. Should the current telework environment no longer apply, you will be required to report to and work onsite from the Toronto office.

Duties

The role of this position is to work on behalf of the Common Supervisory Services team of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions in its interface with supervisory teams of the Office to identify critical business issues and assist in the development of solutions, both manual and automated. The Analyst coordinates the technical resolution of business issues relating to user applications including user support of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, user testing, monitoring ongoing service issues and oversight of maintenance releases.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• A degree from a post-secondary institution with specialization in business, commerce, economics, management information systems, computer science, mathematics or other relevant field OR an acceptable combination of relevant professional industry experience and education.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Recent and significant experience working collaboratively with business partners to understand, analyse and support user requirements and recommend solutions.
• Recent and significant experience in one or more of the following:
o using structured methodologies for the identification of user requirements and the development of specifications for technology initiatives
o analysing and documenting business processes
o working in a client-service environment as a client or relationship manager
o working in an IT customer support function

* Financial services industry includes experience working in a financial institution, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, wealth management firms, and accounting firms (dealing with audits), as well as government departments that directly deal with the supervision and regulation of these institutions, or other relevant areas.
