For this selection process, we may find that email is the most efficient way to communicate with you. Candidates who apply to selection processes should include an email address that accepts email from unknown users (some email systems block these types of email). It is the candidates' responsibility to inform us of a change of contact information during the course of this selection process and to regularly verify your incoming e-mails.

Please note that in addition to all assessment methods such as the application, exam, interview, correspondence and communication in relation to this selection process may also be used to assess certain qualifications

Successful candidate(s) must meet and maintain the Conditions of Employment throughout their employment.

Candidates must provide their proof of education credentials, in the form of a diploma or official transcripts (original documents only) at a later time in the process.

In the case of an acting appointment, the Public Service Employment Regulations enables the organization to exclude the appointee from respecting official language proficiency when the department is unable to fill the position with an appointment of a person who meets the language proficiency qualification. Therefore, we would encourage all to apply, in the event the organization is unable to fill the position with an appointment of a person who meets the language proficiency, others may be considered.
All candidates that apply to this selection process must include in their application a valid email address and ensure that this address is functional at all times and that it accepts messages from unknown users. Failure to do so may result in important messages not being received. Communication for this process will be conducted via the e-mail address provided in your application. It is your responsibility to ensure that you check for messages regularly.

NOTE: Virtual work arrangements may be available and will be determined on a case by case basis dependent on operational feasibility at the time of hiring. This does not imply tele-work; rather it means working from a CSC office within a regional or national headquarters building. The employee will be expected to perform all functions of the positions remotely from a CSC office but report to a manager who is working in another location.

It is the candidate’s responsibility to have access to a computer in working order with MS Word software or a compatible software as the written exam will be in MS Word format. Computer problems will not be accepted as a reason for not completing the exam on time unless there is an Information Technology specialist who can attest to the malfunction of the computer or its software. Any written exams received after the scheduled return time will not be accepted without a reason acceptable to the managers of this process.
