We will review your responses to the essential education and experience criteria to verify that you have met each criteria.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized institution in a field relevant to the position, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Note:
Specialization courses must be acceptable and have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily as part of a degree program in the required field of specialization.
EXPERIENCE:
Recent* experience in managing environmental projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing management tools for environmental programs.
Experience in collaborating or partnering with non-governmental organizations, such as non-profit groups, community organizations and Aboriginal groups.
Experience in administering and overseeing funding programs, including evaluating proposals, making funding recommendations, negotiating funding agreements and tracking project progress.
Experience in synthesizing information obtained from multiple sources into briefing notes, reports, presentations or presentations to inform decision-makers.
*The term 'recent experience' refers to experience gained in the last three (3) years.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of key environmental issues that may affect aquatic ecosystems, particularly in Quebec and Atlantic region.
Knowledge of key stakeholders involved in the environmental community in Quebec.
Knowledge of the Government of Canada's procedures and regulations related to contribution agreements and agreements.
Knowledge of best practices for negotiating transfer payment agreements, monitoring compliance with terms and conditions, and monitoring progress based on deliverables.
ABILITIES:
Ability to reach the cooperation of many governmental and non-governmental stakeholders and partners to build consensus and negotiate agreements with program partners and collaborators.
Ability to coordinate and monitor projects.
Ability to analyze information from a variety of sources, provide advice and recommendations to management.

EDUCATION:
A degree from a recognized academic institution with an acceptable specialization in biological sciences, ecological sciences, physical sciences or other environmental science.
EXPERIENCE:
Recent* experience in implementing the departmental grants and contributions process.
Experience in contributing to or supporting the planning and delivery of government programs, including the development of program tools such as guidelines, procedures, and application and evaluation forms.
Experience working as part of a virtual team.
*The term 'recent experience' refers to experience gained in the last (2) two years.
Operational requirements:
Consent to travel and be able to do so.
Consent to overtime when required and be able to do so.
