Intent of the process

The immediate result of this process is to fill one (1) indeterminate vacancy in North Bay, Ontario. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions with varying tenures in North Bay.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

• Experience working in an institutional, commercial or industrial food service environment (such as nursing homes, restaurants, bakeries, fast food, military mess facilities).

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

The following may be applied / assessed at a later date (may be needed for the job)

• Experience with cashier duties and/or operating a point of sale terminal.
• Experience working in a Canadian or Foreign Service military environment.
• Experience in supervising employees.

Conditions of employment

• Reliability Status
• Must be able to safely perform a variety of physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting.
• Must be able stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work shift schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
