Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY STAFFING. Please note that this process may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, term and acting basis. It may also be used to staff similar positions in other work locations within the Saskatchewan Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in any field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience defined as a secondary school diploma and five (5) years of experience related to the position

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in managing financial resources.

Experience in administering programs.

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
Knowledge of legislation administered by the Department of Indigenous Services Canada
Knowledge of issues in First Nations Communities.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
( Not essential, but preference may be given to candidates who possess asset qualifications)

Successful completion of a post-secondary program with specialization in business administration, commerce of public administration, and/or a CA, CGA or CMA accounting designation or Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM). Candidates who are working towards a degree or designation are asked to provide information on their progress toward that goal.
