Intent of the process

The immediate need of this selection process is to fill two bilingual positions on an indeterminate basis at the Royal Military College of Canada, a university within the Department of National Defence.

A pool of partially qualified bilingual candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar bilingual positions within the Department of National Defence.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
PhD from a recognized university in the field of Psychology (focusing on/or specializing in Mental health, Leadership or Cross-cultural psychology).

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Experience* teaching in a university.

*Must have taught as an instructor, teacher assistant or lab assistant in a minimum of one psychology course.

Must have a current record of publication (within the last 5 years), in peer-reviewed journals in the domains of mental health, leadership or cross-cultural psychology.

Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

*Ability to teach psychology courses effectively at the university level.
Ability to teach in the domains of mental health, leadership or cross-cultural psychology.
Ability to carry out independent research.

*Must be able to teach psychology courses effectively at the university level in both official languages.
