Immediate staffing need: 1 full time permanent position.

Calgary (Alberta), Lacombe (Alberta), Lethbridge (Alberta), Brandon (Manitoba), Morden (Manitoba), Winnipeg (Manitoba), Saskatoon (Saskatchewan), Swift Current (Saskatchewan).
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used for similar permanent and temporary employment for the locations indicated for this process.
In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, and there is a temporary need, he/she may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities.

• Secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience coordinating the collection and dissemination of briefing materials and liaising with offices of senior executives and internal or external clients.
• Experience managing or organizing the daily agenda for management such as meetings, conferences, travel and training.
• Experience in the preparation and management of correspondence and information (for example: composing, editing, formatting, controlling, tracking, filing correspondence and briefing notes, emails, compilation of information or project data into an electronic information system).
• Experience reviewing, proof-reading and editing a wide range of text from a style, content, format and linguistic perspective.
• Recent* experience in the provision of administrative support services.
Note: *Recent means experience acquired within approximately the last two years.
• Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, in a field relevant to the duties of the position.
• Experience working in a senior executive office (Director or Director General’s office or equivalent).
• Experience using a correspondence tracking system.
• Experience providing functional guidance (training) and supervising staff.
• Recent* experience in coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements using a travel management tool.

ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
