The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DND's role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team.
The intent of this process is to staff 1 indeterminate position in Cold Lake, Alberta. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions, with varying tenures in various locations.

EDUCATION
Possession of a valid second Class Stationary Engineer's Certificate for the Province of Alberta or possession of a valid second Class Stationary Engineer’s Certificate from another province with interprovincial certification.
EXPERIENCE
EX01: Experience in the maintenance and operation of high pressure boilers and related equipment in a Central Heating environment
EX02: Experience using a computer for administrative functions including email and word processing

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
