As part of our Public Opinion Research and Consultations team, you will play a key role in ensuring that Canadians' views and opinions influence Transport Canada’s programs, policies and regulations, as well as how we communicate them.
This is an anticipatory process with the intent to establish a pool of fully or partially qualified candidates to fill current and future staffing needs. This pool of candidates may be used to staff similar positions of various tenures (casual employment, term or indeterminate) at Transport Canada.

EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
NOTES:
- Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
- At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
EXPERIENCE
- Recent and significant* experience providing advice to senior management on public opinion research or consultations
- Recent and significant* experience designing and managing public opinion research or consultations
- Recent and significant* experience analyzing and interpreting data, synthetizing information and writing reports
- Experience working with survey tools or consultation platforms
*Recent and significant experience is defined as experience acquired over a period of at least one (1) year during the past five (5) years.
