Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY STAFFING
A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process and will be used to staff identical or similar positions with various language and/or security requirements across Canada. All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to its organization in an identical or similar position. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate (appointment or deployment) or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment or secondment).

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
1. Experience shipping and receiving goods
2. Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
3. Experience using warehouse management software or a computerized inventory system

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

• Must wear CSA approved safety footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Willing and able to perform physical tasks such as, but not limited to, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, crouching, etc.
• Willing and able to be exposed to dust, gas fumes from vehicles, fumes from chemicals and to all weather conditions when working outdoors
• Willing and able to work in a noisy warehouse environment
• Willing and able to work indoors and/or outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Willing and able to lift heavy objects up to 15 kg (33 lbs)
