The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is Canada's second largest law enforcement organization, working 24/7 to protect Canada's borders by preventing high-risk people and goods from crossing into Canada while facilitating legitimate trade and travel, with over 15,000 employees working across Canada.
The immediate need is to staff one permanent position. This process will be used to staff CR-04 Administrative Assistant positions on a permanent, term or acting basis. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff positions in Osoyoos, BC.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives*.
*The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
1. A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
2. An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience providing clerical or administrative support services (e.g. purchasing office supplies, receiving goods, entering data, managing correspondence, archiving documents, etc.).
- Experience in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, outlook, or programs similar to these applications.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with the Systems Applications Products (SAP).
- Experience providing accounting or financial support services.
- Experience providing administrative support services to senior management.
- Experience organizing meetings, teleconferences, videoconferences, information sessions or events.
- Experience using an electronic filing system.
