Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one permanent position, with a bilingual imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profile and RCMP Top Secret security clearance requirement.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP, in Montreal, Quebec, on a permanent or temporary basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security requirements.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two (2) years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology (IT) or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

1. Recent experience* in the analysis, design, programming and maintenance of computer applications using programming techniques and languages such as C#, C++, Javascript, PHP, Python or others
2. Recent experience* with database products such as Access and SQL Server or another database

*Recent experience means a wealth and breadth of experience acquired over the last five (5) years (approximately).

ASSETS - OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Microsoft and/or Linux certification
VMware certification
Cisco certification

ASSETS - EXPERIENCE:
Experience* in the use of computer-based communications intercept systems, digital audio intercept systems, video systems, satellite tracking systems and data capture systems.

*Experience means a wealth and breadth of experience acquired while performing the assigned duties.
