- Provides irrigation to specialized research plants with very detailed watering instructions on weekends and holidays in a greenhouse and growth room environment.
- Provides labour support for general maintenance and cleaning around the greenhouses and growth room areas.
Primarily in a greenhouse or growth room environment which at times can be hot, cold, dusty, dirty, and/or humid. Physical effort is required daily to stand and walk, roll heavy greenhouse benches, use watering hoses, watering cans and watering wands.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada to staff similar positions with various tenures.

- Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, experience and/or training.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with various crops.
- Experience in data collection and data entry.
