Education:
A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
An acceptable combination is considered as completion of secondary school AND a minimum of 6 months cumulative recent experience in a field related to Real Property Management.
Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last 3 years.
Experience:
1. Recent* experience in providing functional advice and guidance to management*** related to property management and / or real estate.
2. Recent* experience in researching and preparing reports or briefing materials related to property management and / or real estate.
3. Recent* and significant** experience in Project Management and/or in a field related to Real Property.
4. Recent* experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams related to property management and / or real estate.
* Recent experience is defined as having been acquired within the past three (3) years.
** Significant experience is defined as being one in which the person’s primary responsibilities include these duties and refers to the breadth and depth as well as complexity of tasks that could be expected to have been obtained by carrying out the functions for approximately two (2) years.
*** Management denotes the first level of management.
- Minimum of six (6) months cumulative *recent experience in a field related to Real Property Management
Education:
1. Graduation with a degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution in a study related to Real Property (i.e. architecture, interior design, property management, etc.)
2. Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or other related certification.
Experience:
1. Experience* applying management and planning techniques and methods to large-scale Real Property projects.
2. Experience* using Computer Assisted Design and Drafting software (CADD).
3. Experience* using Project Management Software such as Microsoft Project.
4. Experience* using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point).
5. Experience* working or consulting with government.
6. Experience* managing financial resources in a Real Property project.
* Experience is defined as being one in which the person’s primary responsibilities include these duties and refers to the breadth and depth as well as complexity of tasks that could be expected to have been obtained by carrying out the functions for approximately one (1) year.
