- Completes technical bridge inspections and carries out routine maintenance on three CF pattern bridges including ordering parts, repairing and maintaining these bridges;
- Plans, organizes, directs and completes purchasing, receipting, issuing, warehousing and distribution.

This process will be used to staff one indeterminate (permanent) position of GL-MAN-06 B2 in Valcartier (Québec). Meanwhile, a pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions for determinate (casual) periods and / or indeterminate permanent). This pool could be used to fill similar positions within the Department of National Defense in Quebec area with various language proficiencies and security
profiles.

EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of training or experience
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Combat Engineer DP3A qualification
EXPERIENCES:
- Experience in equipment and resource management.
- Experience in using computers and associated Microsoft software such as Excel spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint
ASSET CERTIFICATION / TRAINING ( THE ARE NOT ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB) :
- Combat Engineer DP3B qualification
- Combat Storesman qualification
- Possession of a Bridge Inspector qualification.
- Heavy Equipment Operator Course
- Forklift, Rough Terrain Forklift, scissor Lift, Genie or other lift course.
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHIMS) qualified.
- Possession of First aid Level C.
- Completion of any other Safety courses
- Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) qualification
- Possession of an Advanced Bridging Course.
ASSET EXPERIENCE ( IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB) :
Experience in applying relevant safety practices and standards, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE), Health and Safety Codes, and accident prevention to include HAZMAT.

- ACROW panel bridge system;
- Medium Girder Bridge (MGB); and
- Medium Raft / Medium Floating Bridge (MR/MFB).

- Individual must be available to carry out work outside of regular business hours.
