Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)’s Real Property Services manages one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of real estate in Canada, providing accommodation and other real property services to federal organizations. Real Property Services' mission is to create a high-performing, flexible public service that supports innovation, transformation and renewal—boldly going where the public service has never gone before.

As for the Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch, it provides a single point of service delivery to Crown assets within the Precinct in partnership with its parliamentary partners: the Senate of Canada, the House of Commons and the Library of Parliament. Other clients include the Privy Council Office and the Prime Minister’s Office. SPIB also manages the space for commercial tenants leasing properties along Sparks Street. Services offered by SPIB to its clients and partners include: accommodation planning, capital projects delivery, building operations and maintenance to ensure ongoing operations of government within rehabilitated and modern facilities.

Intent of the process

Our current need is to staff two (2) EC-02 positions and ten (10) EC-03 positions within Real Property Services and Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch in the National Capital Region. A pool will be created to staff positions at Public Services and Procurement Canada with employment tenures, language and security requirements, and work locations that will vary depending on the position being staffed.

1) Do you have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics?

--» Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

2) Explain how you have acquired the following experience:

EC-02: We do not ask for any experience.
EC-03: Experience to conduct financial, economic, quantitative analyses and synthesize information.

A WRITTEN EXAM IS PART OF YOUR APPLICATION TO THIS PROCESS.
