Intent of the process

Not all work locations listed have current vacancies. Currently there are vacancies in Winnipeg (Manitoba), Meaford (Ontario) and Borden (Ontario).

This inventory will be used for various tenures (indeterminate, deployment, specified period, assignment, secondment). Applicants who meet the essential qualifications will have their application included in the inventory for this ongoing selection process. As positions become available, the applicants meeting the initial screening requirements identified by the hiring manager may be contacted and referred for consideration. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position

Degree equivalency

Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.

- Significant* experience as a nurse in a community or clinical setting
*Significant is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities which could normally be acquired over a period of 3 years)

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

- Experience with nursing case management
- Experience conducting a biopsychosocial assessment utilizing the INTERMED® - complexity assessment grid
- Experience in care coordination within a community or primary care setting
- Experience providing group education principles to an adult audience
- Experience with Continuous Quality Improvement programs and processes
- Experience working in various disability pension programs such as Veterans Affairs - Canada (VAC), CAF Long Term Disability Plan (SISIP) and Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
