Testing/interviews will be conducted at locations of the employer's choice and may require candidates to travel to the test/interview location, Blackville, N.B.
Please note that candidates (including persons employed in the Public Service) will not be considered to be in travel status or on government business and travel costs will not be reimbursed. Consequently, candidates will be responsible for travel costs.
The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar temporary and/or permanent positions.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment prior to May 21, 2020 (deeming date), the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Furthermore, CM staffing transactions resulting from this process will be administered in accordance with the Onboarding Transition Phase until deeming day.

A covering letter in 5,000 words (maximum)
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives.
Experience providing service to clients by telephone, in person or in writing.
Experience researching, extracting and compiling information from various sources.
Experience in the use of various information management systems and software programs such as but not limited to Excel, Word, Word Perfect, Quattro Pro.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience providing administrative services in a legal or police services environment, including researching and interpreting legislation and related legal documentation, creating and reviewing court related documents.
Experience using police databases such as: ACIIS, PROS, PIRS, CPIC, NCDB, CKIT, ICAN, Versadex, PRIME.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional overtime may be required.
Reliability Status security clearance - of the RCMP.
