Note:
Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
EXPERIENCE
- Recent* and significant** experience in French-language editing of general or specialized texts (including those of an administrative, financial or legal nature) for various audiences.
- Recent* and significant** experience in English-to-French comparative editing of general or specialized texts (including those of an administrative, financial or legal nature) for various audiences.
*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the past five years.
**Significant means at least three years of experience.
A degree from a recognized university with specialization in French literature, linguistics or translation.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
Recent* translation or writing experience in French.
