Education:
Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or employer approved alternatives (a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience).

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification:
- Must have a minimum CAT 2 certification in accordance with the Civilian Ammunition Technician Accreditation Program.
- Possess a valid class “5” driver’s licence without restrictions issued by province of Manitoba or equivalent licence from other province.

Experience:
- Experience in performing the mechanical breakdown repairs, modifications, maintenance, testing of ammunition, explosives, missiles and related items.
- Experience in issuing, receiving, warehousing and inspecting ammunition, explosives, missiles and related items.
- Experience in ammunition salvage.
- Experience in disposing of ammunition, explosives and related items by demolition, mutilation, recuperation and preparation for sales.
- Experience in operating laboratory, calibration, test, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Material Support Equipment (MSE).

Abilities:
- Ability to communicate orally.
- Ability to communicate in writing.
