Duties: Project: Satellite-based water quality mapping is uniquely challenging for small and narrow inland waters due to small sample size, high local variation, and strong adjacency effects. This project will use aquatic and atmospheric radiative transfer modeling as well as empirical approaches to map water quality for small inland waters, estimate and propagate uncertainty from different sources, and use a optimal estimation methodology framework to detect point sources of water quality changes.
