EDUCATION:
- Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of experience, education and training relating to the position.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in managing budgets in a computerized financial management accounting system.
- Experience in working with MS Office Suite.
- Experience in representing an organization/entity at meetings or participating in an advisory capacity for technical advice to clients, various departments and agencies.
- Experience with multiple construction and maintenance trades in the review and assignment of work, defining project requirements, conducting feasibility studies and investigating, preparing cost estimates, and reports.
- Experience managing design and implementation of maintenance and recapitalization projects, programs, long range plans and budgets for multi- year facility maintenance plans.
EDUCATION:
- Hold a current valid membership in the Canadian Association of Certified Technicians and Technologists.

- Hold a certification as a professional engineer in Canada.
(or)
- Completed Real Property Managing Basic and/or Real Property Managing Advanced course.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the management of Construction Engineering works control procedures related to infrastructure maintenance and construction.
- Experience in a Construction Engineering environment with the Department of National Defence or the Canadian Forces.
- Experience using or viewing reports in DRMIS Infrastructure and Environment Reporting and Information System (IERIS) Platform including BI reporting, Plant Maintenance Module, Material Management Module, and Project Systems Module and Financial (FI) module.
- Experience using MS Project.

Reliability Status security clearance - - Must be able to obtain an enhanced reliability security clearance.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Possession of a valid provincial Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Must be able to obtain a DND 404 driving permit.
