The intent of this process is to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of National Defence. Location, linguistic and security profiles and/or requirements as well as tenures may vary according to the position being staffed.
Positions at a lower group and level may be staffed using this process.

Education:
-Completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
EQ1 - Experience providing stores or supply services
EQ2 - Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Depending on the position being staffed, any of the qualifications below may be deemed as an essential “must have” or an asset qualification “nice to have”:
EQ3 - Possession of a valid and unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory*
*You may be required to provide an up-to-date and acceptable driver’s abstract if you are considered for appointment.
EQ4 - Experience working in a warehouse, shipping environment or distribution centre
EQ5 - Experience in repair or disposal
EQ6 - Experience in stocking stores

EQ10 - Experience using SAP based applications

AQ12 –Contracting direct with trade certified

Depending on the position being staffed, one or more of the following may be required:
COE2 - Possession of a valid and unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s license issued by a Canadian province or territory*

COE3 - Must obtain and maintain a valid DND 404 Driver’s License throughout the entire period of employment.
COE4 - Will be required to wear safety footwear at all times and occasionally other protective clothing such as a hard hat, gloves, smocks, dust masks, googles, etc.
COE5 - Will be required to perform a variety of physical tasks, including but not limited to, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and sitting.
COE6 - Will be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
COE7 - Able to safely lift up to heavy items up to 20 kilograms
COE8 - May be required to obtain and retain a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certificate
COE9 - May be required to obtain and maintain a Dangerous Cargo Packaging/Shipping certificate
COE10 - May be required to obtain and retain a Hazardous Material Handling certification
COE11 - May be required to obtain and maintain a Hazardous Material Spill certification
COE12 - May be required to obtain and retain a Packaging and Transportation of Hazardous Material certification.
COE13 - May be required to obtain and retain an acquisition card
