We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

Important messages
Are you exhausted from applying in endless selection processes? Would you like to work together to make Canada a better place for Indigenous peoples, Northern resident and their communities?
Have you answered yes to these two questions, because if so, we have many opportunities for you! Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) are waiting after your application to make a difference.
What you need to know:
The advantage of an inventory is to apply only once. In addition, you will be considered for several job offers. Do not worry, even if your application is not selected for a job immediately, you remain in the inventory and you will still have opportunities to be selected. You also have the option to return to your job application at any time and update your resume or answers to pre-screening questions.
This inventory is targeted to Aboriginal persons who will self-declare as an Aboriginal person.
An Aboriginal person is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation, Métis or Inuit. North American Indians or members of a First Nation include treaty, status or registered Indians, as well as non-status and non-registered Indians.
The Aboriginal affiliation will be verified at the time of the appointment.
NOTE: The section below titled Other Information contains other information that you are strongly advised to refer to.
Work environment
CIRNAC and ISC support several initiatives to recruit, retain and promote Indigenous employees.
These Departments offers a stimulating, diverse and enriching work environment for Indigenous employees as well as a whole range of resources and services (language training, social and cultural activities, access to Elders, Spiritual Teachers, Indigenous Community Leaders, etc.) in order to enhance your career.
In the context of reconciliation, CIRNAC and ISC supports Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) and Northerners in their efforts to improve social well-being and economic prosperity to the benefit of all Canadians.
Intent of the process
