Real Property Management services for all property interests at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) in Manitoba ( Shilo or Winnipeg) and satellite sites.
- Responds to internal and external queries on historical, current and future real property matters.
- Negotiates terms and conditions of agreements with clients/stakeholders.
- Conducts market analysis and preliminary appraisals.
- Prepares formal documentation in accordance with the Ministerial delegation for real property transactions.
- Tracks and controls financial transactions related to property transactions.
- Manages and oversees the administration of Real Property in and assigned portfolio.
- Ensures Defence Resource Management Information Systems (DRMIS) records are administered and maintained.
- Provides direction and advice on real property transactions.
- Establishes and maintains a daily working liaison with clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Represents the Wing/Department at meetings and/or participates in an advisory capacity.
- Supervises Properties staff.

There is an immediate need to staff one (1) term AS-04 position in Shilo (Manitoba)
And
two (2) permanent (AS-03 & AS-04) positions in Winnipeg (Manitoba).
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions, with varying tenures in various locations.

EDUCATION
E1. Graduation with a post-secondary diploma or degree from a recognized institution in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
FOR ALL POSITIONS
E1. *Recent experience in **Real Property ***management, administration of real estate leases or service agreements
E2. *Recent experience in financial recording, budgeting, and reporting
E3. *Recent experience using Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word And Microsoft Outlook

*Recent is defined as experience gained within the last five (5) years.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
FOR ALL POSITIONS
AE1. Experience working in real estate or property management in the Federal government.
AE2. Experience communicating with Federal, Provincial, Regional, District, Municipal planning/engineering staff and/or First Nations on real property matters.
AE3. Experience in engineer project/contract/ construction management.
AE4. Experience working with DRMIS or SAP
FOR AS-04 POSITION
AE5. Experience in management practices such as life-cycle asset maintenance, budget development and administration, cost benefits and/or risk analysis.
