PM-05 opportunity is located in Wabush, NL
- Manages the resources for the day to day operation, safety and serviceability of all airport facilities for the air carriers, general aviation, other tenants and the public.
- Manages the implementation and administration of the airport programs to maximize revenue and increase the commercial viability of the airport.
- Managing the site emergency response and safety programs.
- Implements and monitors a security program according to the Canadian Aviation Security Regulations, 2012 PART 6 for Class 3 Aerodromes.
- Manages the maintenance of all airport systems, physical plant and mobile assets in accordance with the principles of the lifecycle management.
- Manages the airport human and financial resources in a businesslike manner.
- Conducts the ongoing communications, consultative and promotional activities of the airport including stakeholder engagement.
- Implements and monitors the delivery of the airport Safety Management System (SMS) program.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
Significant * experience in the supervision of staff which includes employee performance and labour relation management.
Experience in emergency response or planning involving multiple stakeholders.

Willing and able to travel.

Please note that achieving the pass mark on any of the assessments used does not mean you will move forward in the selection process. Management may decide to use a score that is higher than the pass mark on any of the evaluations used throughout the selection process. Management may also decide to use top-down selection at any stage of the process.
A cut-off score may also be used at any stage of assessment.
A top-down screening approach may be undertaken. Only the top ranking candidates may be invited to the assessment phase of the process.
Please note that for candidates applying from outside the public service, the Department will not reimburse travel expenses linked to the assessment process; however, every reasonable effort will be made to minimize travel costs for candidates who will undergo assessment.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
