These positions will only be staffed in Regina, Saskatchewan.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff future vacancies on an indeterminate, term, and/or acting basis within the Saskatchewan Region.
The pool could be used for acting appointments under exceptional circumstances to protect employee's indeterminate status.

Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial or territorial standards or general equivalency (GED)
Experience in providing support and guidance to clients
Experience in processing financial transactions in a financial system (such as, but not limited to, SAP or Oracle)
Experience working with word processing and software applications (such as Microsoft Word and Excel)
Success completion of 2 years post-secondary education in accounting or another specialty relevant to the position.
Successful completion of an introductory accounting course offered at a post-secondary education institution.
Recent * experience using SAP (departmental financial management system)
* Recent is defined as actively engaged in the activity within the last 5 years.

An interview will be administered.
A written examination will be administered.
Reference checks will be sought.
Candidates will be asked to provide proof of their education credentials and proof of citizenship (original documents only) at the assessment stage of this process. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further in the selection process.
Candidates must provide three supervisory references, one of which must be your current supervisor.

Preference in appointment may be given to employees who have been, or will be, impacted by work force adjustment and/or realignment of work.
