The selection committee could use different methods to manage the volume of candidates. Also, various evaluation tools will be used.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EVALUATION
Supervised exams of the Public Service Commission will be administered to successful candidates following the evaluation of their resume. Please note that these supervised exams can only be administered in Gatineau or Halifax. If you are invited, you will have to be able to present yourself to these evaluations at one of the locations mentioned, otherwise your application will no longer be considered. Please note that applicants will not be reimbursed by the Department for travel expenses related to the evaluation process; however, the Department is committed to minimizing the costs to candidates who will participate in the assessment process.

The Finance and Administration Branch provides financial, corporate accommodation, material management and procurement services on a regional and national basis for Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Education
• Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics; OR
• Possession of the Government of Canada Financial Management Certificate.

Experience
EX1. Recent ** experience* in providing customer service
EX2: Recent** experience* in preparing reports (including activities such as extracting, compiling and analyzing information) OR, in Financial Operations.
*For the purposes of this selection process “Experience” is defined as the experience normally associated with performing the activity for at least twelve (12) months

Asset - Education
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics.
Possess a recognized professional Accounting Designation (i.e. CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA).
