Graduation with a Bachelor degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in agriculture, environmental science, biology or allied sciences.
IF YOU HAVE FOREIGN CREDENTIALS, please follow the link below for information on how to obtain a degree equivalency. You must obtain an equivalency, at your own expense, in order to be considered for appointment into the public service.
Experience conducting experiments under both field and controlled environmental conditions.
Experience collecting and performing analyses on plant and soil samples.
Experience writing technical reports.
Experience calibrating and operating field plot and post-harvest equipment.
Graduation with a Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in one of the following fields: Plant Science, Soil Science, Agriculture, Plant Biology, Natural Resource or Environmental Science.
Possession of a valid pesticide applicators certificate of qualification.
