Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff one indeterminate position in Charlottetown, PEI. A pool of qualified candidates will also be created to staff other positions that may become vacant in the future on an indeterminate and/or temporary basis in the PEI DFO Area Office in the Gulf Region. This pool may also be used to staff other similar positions in the Gulf Region.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience* in collaborating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in preparing or writing documents (i.e. briefing notes, memoranda, correspondence, procedures, presentations, reports)
Experience in developing policies or programs.
Experience organizing, chairing or facilitating meetings.
Experience* in managing human, and financial resources.

*Experience is defined as normally acquired over a period of at least two (2) years in a position where these duties are the main function of the position.
