You are required to complete screening questions that clearly demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria of education and experience and any asset education and asset experience if applicable. Your response must include HOW (concrete examples), WHEN (dates) and WHERE (location of work) you meet the essential criteria required. A proof of education will be required to validate the education.
Perform real-time, legally authorized electronic telecommunications surveillance involving designated persons, locations and devices.
Listen and analyze live and recorded intercepted telecommunications for simultaneous summary for criminal investigations.
Prepare textual transcripts of certain communications intercepted and recorded for judicial purposes.
Prepare various reports for each project on a regular basis, describing project resources, progress made, providing relevant statistics and identifying foreign language translation needs.
Analyze conversations and data from various sources (compound dialer, location, Internet, etc.) to identify habits and codes to help establish relevant information (transactions, deliveries and associations).
The intent of the selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates in order to staff 6 months term Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB position(s) with a Top Secret security clearance. The position(s) are located at 155 McArthur Avenue, Ottawa, ON.
The pool of qualified candidates could also be used to staff similar positions of varying tenures, of varying bilingual linguistic profiles and varying security clearances within the RCMP in the National Capital Region.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

RCMP Top Secret level security clearance
Candidates selected for appointment will have to obtain and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance. This process requires a security interview, a field investigation in matters of criminal activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
