Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff an indeterminate part time position.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

A secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience

Degree equivalency

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as psychology, sociology, justice or criminology

Experience using police databases, such as PROS, CPIC and InfoPol

Experience working with the RCMP in an operational police environment, or with law enforcement partners such as non-RCMP police services, justice and corrections officials, or parole and probation officers

When submitting an application to this selection process, you will be prompted to answer screening questions concerning the essential education and experience qualifications. It is recommended that you describe the experience examples in specific terms, providing sufficient details so that the Assessment Board can clearly understand. Describe the situation/task, the action you took, what you accomplished and/or what you learned. The content of your response must be supported by your resume as your responses to these questions will be used as a primary source of information and your resume will only be used to validate this information. Lack of examples and details will result in your application being rejected as the Assessment Board will have insufficient information to determine if the requirement is met.

Must be willing and able to relocate and/or work in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
