Education:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of school, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experiences:
Recent* experience** in providing financial support services in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, such as processing invoices or travel claims, billing and preparing bank deposits, reconciling customer accounts or processing revenue related transactions;

Recent* experience** in using a variety of basic computerized programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point;

Recent* experience** in using financial systems (such as: SAP, Oracle, Free Balance) for accounts payable and/or accounts receivable;

Recent* experience** in providing support and/or customer service on financial matters.

*Recent in the context of this advertisement is defined by being within the last 3 years.
**Experience in the context of this advertisement refers to the breadth and depth as well as the complexity of tasks that could be expected to have been obtained by carrying out the functions associated with full-time performance of duties over a period of at least 12 months.

Asset qualifications:
A preference may be granted to candidates with post-secondary education level in administration, management, finance, accounting or other fields of studies considered relevant to the position to be staff.

Degree equivalency

Recent* experience** with the Financial Management System SAP.

Recent* experience** in the application of policies, procedures or financial directives established by the Treasury Board of Canada.
