Education:

Completion of a Post-Secondary training program in electronics technology* or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

* Note, an acceptable training program in electronics technology involves the completion of 2 to 3 years of post-secondary study in this subject.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Significant* experience in the satellite communications (SATCOM) field.

Significant* experience in the use of military or commercial Off-The-Shelf SATCOM systems.

Experience in the provision of SATCOM terminals using military or commercial satellite constellations.

Experience instructing students at the post-secondary level**.

*Significant experience is defined as 5 years-experience, including 5 years of combined military and commercial off-the-shelf system experience
**Post-Secondary includes military instruction

AIRBUS Defense & Space Course: Network Wide Area System (SkyWAN) 7000 Course 8140 and 8240 SkyWAN v7.2;

AIRBUS Defense & Space Course: Network Monitoring System (SkyNMS) v3.2 Training.
