Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering or Geology
Occupational Certification:
Must be eligible for registration in either the Professional Engineers Ontario, l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, or L'Ordre des Géologues du Québec.
Extensive* operational work experience in the mining industry.
Significant** work experience in collecting, analyzing and interpreting geological, engineering, or financial information, or the preparation of engineering and financial reports related to mining or mineral development.
*Extensive is defined as a minimum of five (5) years.
** Significant is defined as a minimum of three (3) years.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of Canadian mineral taxation regime and the federal Income Tax Act.
Knowledge of Canadian regulations concerning exploration and mineral development
Knowledge of financial analysis including valuation of mineral properties and mining operations
Ability to communicate effectively orally

Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in business administration, commerce, finance or another business related field.
An accounting or finance designation.
Experience in mineral exploration.
Experience in underground mining operations.
Experience in open pit mining operations.

Secret security clearance
Willingness to travel and undertake site visits throughout the year to mineral properties and mine sites (both open-pit and underground) in Canada
