Education
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics*.
* Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. We encourage applicants with various backgrounds to demonstrate how you meet this essential qualification through education, training, and/or experience.
Experience
• Experience in researching, drafting and finalizing formal written products including at least two of the following: narrative reports, briefing notes, evaluation reports, newsletters and presentations.
• Experience working on projects or initiatives that require collaboration with stakeholders (For example, client groups, other government departments, other levels of government).
• Experience in planning and facilitating meetings or events.
Asset Qualifications: Education
• Graduation with an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field relevant to the position.
