As a forward delivery driver at Canadian Forces Base Edmonton, you will be required to drive a 3-5 Ton truck to make deliveries of stores from our main warehouse to units within the Edmonton area. You will be required to load and unload the truck at the various unit locations. You will be responsible to ensure the proper documentations is signed by the customers and returned to the main warehouse. You will be required to lift up to 25kg, use a pallet jack and forklift as required, and conduct operator maintenance on the vehicle.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions in Edmonton AB, in the Department of National Defence and other government departments, for various tenures of employment.

OC1 – Possession of a valid unrestricted Alberta Class 1 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
Note: Restriction number one (glasses) is not applicable.
E1 – Experience in the operation of a 3-5 Ton Vehicle
AOC1 - Possess valid certification in one or more of the following:
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Forklift Certification
- Conflict Resolution
- Other certificates related to the position
AE1 – Experience in the transportation of dangerous goods
AE2 – Experience working in a DND/CAF transport unit in a military or civilian capacity.
