This inventory will be managed by the Public Service Commission (PSC) in collaboration with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Office of the Chief Information Officer of Canada (OCIO), and used by various federal government organizations to staff positions in IM/IT across the country. Therefore, ensure to ONLY indicate your true work locations of interest.

When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment by the hiring organization.

EDUCATION:
A college diploma, a degree* OR an applied degree, obtained OR will be obtained by June 30, 2020, from a recognized post-secondary institution in computer science, information technology, information management or another specializations relevant to the position to be staffed.

*Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate or an applied degree as established by educational authorities.

EXPERIENCE
During the application process you will be asked to respond to a series of questions about your experiences through detailed examples.

Fields of experience include: Application Development, Application Testing/Quality Assurance, Infrastructure/Operations, Database Administration, Cybersecurity/Information Security/IT Security, IT Business Analyst/IT Project Management, Information Management, Enterprise Architecture, Data Science/Analysis.
