What makes us special?
---------------------------------
Trust and certainty in measurement transactions are essential to the stability and prosperity of our economy. Measurement technologies are increasingly at the forefront of a wide variety of ever expanding sectors including the infrastructure for the use of zero emission vehicles and renewable energies and increasingly automated businesses using wireless and AI technologies.
Measurement Canada evaluates and approves prototype, cutting edge measurement technologies, test and certify measurement technologies and systems in the marketplace, investigates consumer and business complaints of suspected inaccurate measurement and audits companies recognized to perform inspections. We offer technical guidance and communications outreach to provide clients and Canadians with the information and support they need to make informed choices and help us ensure continued measurement accuracy in the marketplace.
Our dynamic and innovative team includes engineers, engineering technologists, communications officers and office administrators, just to name a few.
