Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, with various tenures depending on organizational needs (Indeterminate, Acting and Specified Period), within the Department of Indigenous Services Canada in Fort Qu’Appelle, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in indigenous studies, social sciences, land management, planning, economics, business administration, commerce, public administration, social work, health, or other program relevant to the position, OR an acceptable combination of education, training and recent extensive experience defined as a secondary school diploma and minimum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant field within the past 5 years.

Degree equivalency

Experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on program issues.
Experience in networking and consulting with various internal or external stakeholders.
Experience in leading a team.

An accounting designation recognized in the Province of Saskatchewan.
