Intent of the process

ANTICIPATORY STAFFING
A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this process and will be used to staff identical or similar positions with various language and/or security requirements across Canada. All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to its organization in an identical or similar position. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate (appointment or deployment) or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment or secondment).

***IMPORTANT*** In addition to the essential and asset education and experience criteria screening questions, the ability to communicate effectively in writing and the showing initiative and being action-oriented competency will also be evaluated at the time of application. EDUCATION:
• A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination or education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience determining work requirements, coordinating and delivering facilities management or accommodations services such as office moves, relocations, fit-up or construction activities
• Experience providing guidance or advice to clients related to facilities management or accommodations

COMPETENCIES:
• Showing initiative and being action-oriented

ABILITIES:
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successful completion of an acceptable post-secondary program in a field related to the duties of the position
• Experience within the Government of Canada in the provision of services in the field of facilities management or accommodations
• Experience in Occupational Health & Safety
• Experience implementing the fit-up standards of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)

Degree equivalency

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, often on short notice.
