EDUCATION:

EDU: Successful completion of secondary school education or an acceptable combination or education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

EX1: Experience in tailoring
EX2: Experience altering garments
EX3: Experience in customer service
EX4: Experience using industrial sewing machines
EX5: Experience hand sewing according to instructions

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

English essential

ABILITIES:

A1: Ability to follow written instructions
A2: Ability to sew by hand
A3: Ability to operate and maintain the following tools related to the tailoring trade:
• Domestic sewing machines;
• Industrial sewing machines;
• Hand irons; and
• Steam presses.
A4: Ability to plan and organize work tasks
