Intent of the process

This inventory will be managed by the Public Service Commission of Canada (PSC) and used by various federal government organizations across the country to staff their positions in Project Management, Procurement and Contracting. Therefore, ensure to ONLY indicate your true work locations of interest.

When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment by the hiring organization.

This inventory enables you to be matched to job opportunities such as: Procurement Officer, Project Officer, Program Support Officer, Contracting Officer, Facilities and Materiel Coordinator, Asset Management Specialist, and so much more.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
An applied degree obtained or will be obtained by June 30, 2020, from a recognized college with one of the following acceptable specializations: International Business and Supply Chain Management OR e-Business Supply Chain Management OR Naval Architecture OR Marine and Naval Engineering.

OR

College diploma OR Degree* obtained or will be obtained by June 30, 2020, from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in a field related to the position such as: Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, Commerce, Material Management, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Industrial engineering , Technology fields (Avionics, Mechanical, Electronics or Marine technology) or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

*Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.

Degree equivalency

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

CERTIFICATION
Professional Certifications such as: Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP), Professional Engineer (P. Eng), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environment).

EXPERIENCE

Tests

How and when will I be assessed?

- You will receive an unsupervised internet test (PSEE UIT 370) at the end of October 2019 to be completed within a five (5) day window.

- If you are successful at the unsupervised test, you will be invited to the supervised in-person test (PSEE 371) that will be administered starting in November 2019.
