Occupational Therapists at Correctional Services Canada work in multi-level security environments.

The delivery of care is provided by health care professionals who are registered or licensed in Canada including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, dentists, and other relevant specialists.
A pool of qualified candidates resulting from this process will be used to staff indeterminate and term positions as they become available.

A covering letter in 2,500 words (maximum) "You MUST clearly demonstrate in writing how you meet the essential Education (Graduation with a degree from a recognized school of occupational therapy) and Experience (Experience in providing occupational therapy services to adults) requirements. You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Experience providing occupational therapy services to clients with cognitive deficits, which may include brain injury, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
Experience providing occupational therapy services to behaviourally challenged clients
Experience in providing Occupational Therapy services to clients with physical/medical health needs and providing assistive devices or equipment as needed.
Reliability Status security clearance
Eligibility for acceptable registration or proof of license to practice as a professional occupational therapist in a province or territory of Canada. (Note: Proof of registration in the province of practice must be met upon appointment but not necessarily at the point of application).
Registration with a General Practicing Certificate from the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
