Information on employment equity

If this process is for an acting appointment, the Public Service Employment Regulations allow a federal government organization to exclude an appointee from having the official language proficiency indicated in the job advertisement. Exclusion from this requirement can occur when the department is unable to fill a position with a candidate who meets the language proficiency indicated for the position. We encourage all interested candidates to apply, as candidates who do not meet the specified language proficiency may still be considered.
We will communicate with you about this process by email. As a result, you must update your Public Service Resourcing System profile if it changes. Applicants should use an email address that accepts messages from unknown senders (some email systems block such messages).
If you do not respond to our communications, we will interpret this as your withdrawal from the process.
