Duties

• Provides administrative support in the areas of human resource and financial services.
• Conducts research of information and prepares a variety of reports and statistics with respect to administrative program activities.
• Updates and maintains various databases.
• Analyzes the procedures in place to identify shortcomings that are affecting the delivery of programs / services and propose solutions.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Recent* and significant** experience in providing client service in a field of business administration such as Human Resources, Finance or Procurement

Recent* and significant** experience in coordinating meetings, teleconferences, and videoconferences.

Recent* experience in developing and modifying spreadsheets using MS Excel at an ***intermediate level.

Recent* experience in providing administrative services to internal clients such as, but not limited to, preparing correspondence, reports, or documents; providing information; maintaining electronic or hard copy records; filing, or processing mail.


*Recent is defined as within the past two (2) – four (4) years
**Significant experience means experience that is a core part of the candidate’s employment for a period that would provide the depth and breadth of experience acquired over a period of at least two (2) years.
***Intermediate is defined as using IF(), Sum(), Average() functions or creating pivot tables.

Successful completion of post-secondary courses in human resources or accounting.

Degree equivalency

Experience providing advice and guidance to managers, employees, and external clientele.

Experience providing administrative services in human resources.

Experience providing administrative services in finance.

Experience inputting and extracting information from an electronic information management system such as, but not limited to, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.
