The Team Lead, Information Management provides leadership, development, onboarding, and training to a group of Information Management Analysts who support the delivery of IM products and services to employees across the Department.
The position is responsible for directing and supporting the Information Management Analysts on their assigned work deliverables to achieve the goals of the Information Architecture and Information Management Directorate.

Anticipatory process.
This process may be used to establish a pool of candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various official language proficiencies, various security profiles, various tenures (Indeterminate, Temporary) using various staffing mechanisms at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. If a pool is established following this staffing process, all federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) will be able to use it in order to staff similar positions across Canada.

EDUCATION
EDU1. Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Information Management or in a field relevant to the work to be performed,
OR
an acceptable* combination of education, training, and progressively responsible professional work experience.
*An acceptable combination is defined as a secondary school diploma and five (5) years of relevant progressively responsible professional work experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience supervising or leading a team to deliver projects or services related to the management of information.
EX2. Experience assessing information management client requirements and proposing options and recommending solutions.
EX3. Recent* and significant** experience working in an information management (IM) environment with demonstrated experience in the design, delivery or support of IM services or solutions.
*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
**Significant experience is defined as experience normally acquired over a period of two (2) years.

Secret security clearance - STEP 4 of the assessment process - SECURITY CLEARANCE
The hiring department is responsible for the Personnel Security Clearance process.
Typically to be eligible for a "Reliability" clearance, you must provide residence information for the last five (5) years and to be eligible for a "Secret" clearance, you
must provide residence information for the last ten (10) years.
The process may involves reference inquiries, verification of qualifications, criminal records checks, credit checks (if required), and fingerprints.
