Duties

The successful candidate will join a diverse research team to work on the Black Brook Watershed project. The watershed is instrumented with many monitoring stations, collecting weather, soil and water data. Raw data need to be processed for quality assurance and control before it can be used. The successful candidate will receive training by the scientist and technicians on the monitoring network and be provided with detailed instructions on any assigned tasks, which include assisting with data compilation, quality control, analysis for use in a hydrological model and updating the models.

Currently enrolled/or willing to enroll in a Master’s or PhD program in a recognize post-secondary academic institution with specialization in: agri-environmental sciences or a close related field.

Degree equivalency

Experience in agri-environmental related lab or field work.
Experience in scientific data analysis and modeling.

*In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
